Raised in Reading, local musician and BBC Young Musician finalist Ewan Millar is now one of the most sought-after oboists of his generation. In partnership with rising Welsh pianist Tomos Boyles, their eclectic recital programme features a rich vein of French music by Lili Boulanger and Debussy. It also includes a transcription of Brahms’s second violin sonata, one of the composer’s most lyrical and intimate works.
