Victoria came from New Zealand in 2002 to study at the Royal Northern College of Music, where she gained distinctions in postgraduate cello and composition. In 2005. still a student, she was appointed to the Orchestra of Opera North as Section Principal Cellist. Her many awards include The New Zealand Young Musician of the Year 2005. the Silver Medal of the Worshipful Company of Musicians 2005, and the RNCM’s Gold Medal and Audience Prize 2006. Victoria is currently the cellist of the Barbirolli Quartet, performing at premier venues such as the Purcell Room and Wigmore Hall.

Marisa is of Indian/Thai parentage, and grew up in Houston,Texas. She has won numerous awards and has appeared in many of the world’s famous venues: the Wigmore Hall, the Purcell Room, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Barcelona’s Palau de Ia Musica Catalana, the Warsaw Philharmonic Hall and the Ateneul Roman. She has broadcast in the UK, the US and Spain, and her concerto performances and festival appearances have carried her across the US and Europe. She recently received the prestigious Diplôme de Soliste from the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève, Switzerland.
