Don Giovanni PictureThe Longborough Festival Opera/Complete Singer Tour comes back to Maidenhead Music Society for a 5th season, bringing an outstanding cast of young singers from London colleges performing Mozart's Magic Flute, in German, with English subtitles and English dialogue. Hannah Whitham provides beautifully romantic costumes, Sophie Mosberger is the Covent Garden-trained young designer, and Jenny Miller and Lesley-Anne Sammons continue to lead as director and conductor for singers who should be heard now at the start of their promising careers. They include Bradley Richard Smith as Tamino, Monique Klongruadroke as Queen of the Night, and Alice Rose Privett as Pamina.

Fully costumed and staged together with a small instrumental ensemble.

The Complete Singer began life in 2001 when the late Clifford Benson suggested to Jenny Miller that she run a vocal course in tandem with his own chamber music course. Over the following years Jenny Miller, with a superb and closely-knit team, evolved The Complete Singer's unique style, in which the whole singer, as artist, dramatist, vocalist and human being, is carefully nurtured, developed and sustained.
